Seli'une "Preview" (and information for the story)

Authoress' Note:
Hey!  Just wanted to let you know that this story is the only story I am currently working on.  I just finished Anne (Part Three of Three), and I have had this on my phone for a while.  I have three chapters done so far, but I think I will put separate chapters for this story.  I haven't been on Blogger for a while, and I am really sorry about that, especially since I kinda left you people hanging with Anne.

This is just a summary/preview/hook for Seli'une, so I would like you to read this first.  To "force" you to do so, I won't put any of the actual story on here yet.  I might post new chapters every...month?  Does that sound fair?  Tell me what time period you think would work.  If I get no other suggestions I will go with month.  Maybe week if I feel like it.

I hope you enjoy!

Imagine if you lived in a world where two races were at war.  And now imagine if there was another race.  Imagine if that race had the power to stop the war, if the race used it right.  The race you are imagining, the third one, is the Seli'une.

Vivite is a sixteen-year-old street rat with a hideous secret that she has to hide, unless she wants the government after her: she is a Seli'une.  The Seli'une are an incredible race.  They have the power to take energy or nutrients from another object.  This object could be human, animal, or plant.  Even if it's dead.

Che'tigro.  The tiger people.  The opposing side.  The government plans to use the Seli'une as a weapon against them.

Vivite knows she can hide.  She has friends.  But she knows no others like her.  She is rescued by a mysterious woman, to find ten other Seli'une have already found refuge with her.  Vivite puts the number to eleven.  She finds guidance there.   Friendship there.  Vivite learns to trust again.  She also finds danger.

How will Vivite cope with a world that is out to get her?  Read to find out.

Some time later (like the next day):
I have decided that since I have the first chapter already typed and saved as a draft, I will post it later this week.  If time allows.
